Good Food Month

Good Food Month (GFM) is Australia’s largest food and wine festival, annually engaging over two million participants across six cities. The flavour- packed, talent-filled programmes shines a light on the influential chefs and restaurants that have helped shape Australia’s culinary landscape and the talent that will define its bright and exciting future.

With nearly 200 events, Good Food Month needed a new strategy and positioning to help people engage with all the deliciousness they had to offer, and an ongoing PR support that not only generated coverage for their events, but developed strategic partnerships and added true value to the offering.

Develop a campaign concept and identity needed to engage a highly targeted millennial demographic through social channels and allow for more than 200+ contributors to easily extend the idea through their own promotions.

Execute comprehensive PR campaigns for Sydney Good Food Month, Melbourne Good Food Month, Melbourne Night Noodle Markets and Canberra Good Food Month

Idea.

Good Food Month. 180+ memorable events and experiences to re-visit, re-create and re-imagine. We developed the Re-Imagine October umbrella for all GFM events to sit under. The purposefully chosen hyphenation allowed for a variety of executions keeping messaging on theme yet relevant for very specific calendar events.

Starting our relationship by providing strategy, creative and marketing services, we have moved onto an ongoing public relations remit across the portfolio of food events, including Sydney Good Food Month (2017 & 2018), Sydney Night Noodle Markets (2017 & 2018), Melbourne Good Food Month (2018), Melbourne Night Noodle Markets (2018) and Canberra Good Food Month (2018).

Over the course of the past 18 months, we have not only forged really strong relationships between Fairfax Events and leading national media titles, but tapped into the rich tapestry of talent available, to generate larger lead features. Leveraging strategic insights and our strong collaborative relationship with Fairfax, our PR approach to-date has ensured a momentum of coverage in the lead-up to, during and after each event. This approach has helped to not only raise awareness and drive interest / ticket sales, but also to build and strengthen the proposition of each event brand.
